I went to the "Points From Parent:(new)" and entered a test demerit and put a test demerit for 1 point. It showed up. Then I went back and did test2 for the same points and it did not show up. Then I posted 4 demerit points under "Second demerit". It did not show up until I clicked on today on the calender under award points in upper left hand corner. Then "Second demerit" showed up. Try using 2 different points and a different title. See if that helps you out.
